Our Business
Archelon is a proprietary trading firm. We make markets in equities, indexes, equity options, index futures, interest rate products. As market makers we seek to provide liquidity in derivative markets, and we actively participate in portfolio arbitrage opportunities among correlated products. We also provide exchange access to professional trading individuals and organizations.
The core of our business is our technology, proprietary trading algorithms, efficient data dissemination and expert personnel.
LeadershipArchelon has been at the forefront of electronic trading for many years. We were one of the early participants in the fully electronic Eurex exchange in the early 90’s, and we have continued to invest heavily in our system engineering, programming and financial engineering activities. Archelon is one of the largest market makers on Eurex and in Korea.
In the US one of our partners serves as a Director on the Board of the International Securities Exchange, and we are actively involved in the transition from a floor model to fully electronic trading.
