Technology

Technology is the core of Archelon’s business. We have a real-time distributed data base that allow for instantaneous pricing and trading of all exchange listed derivatives simultaneously.

Our technology is built on Sun and Intel hardware operating in a UNIX environment. Virtually all of our software is internally developed for speed and efficiency using C++, and Perl.

Exchanges

The bulk of Archelon’s trading takes place on CBOE, CBOT, CME, ISE, Eurex, Xetra and KSE. Archelon is a market maker in 350 equity options in the US, the S&P 500, NASDAQ, QQQQ, Spiders, DAX Index, German, Swiss and other European and Asian products.

Proprietary Trading Group

Archelon is in the process of establishing a proprietary trading group in which individuals may trade on their own behalf using Archelon’s technology and capital. Individuals may trade any product to which Archelon has access in the US, Europe or Asia. Individual’s interested in proprietary trading opportunities will receive training in Archelon’s trading system, risk management and compliance.

Archelon desires to engage experienced traders who seek to take advantage of an efficient technology infrastructure and broad product selection in a non-trading floor environment.
